Strange Fruit
During 2020, and again in 2021, like most people (apart from those in No 10 Downing Street, apparently) we followed the government's lockdown rules and limited our outdoor activities to local walks, taken for exercise and fresh air. As the days wore one, I started to notice what seemed to be an increase in the number of random items of clothing, accessories, and other personal items that had been lost or abandoned in the woods we visited - often ending up in odd locations, including hanging on tree branches. Spotting the daily additions to this growing crop evolved into a photographic project.
