Poznan 2022
In August 2022 the beautiful Polish university city of Poznan was undergoing major changes. In addition to the ongoing installation of a new public transport system across the city, local authorities had set up provision for the arrival of 70,000 Ukrainian refugees escaping from the Russian invasion. As these images show, this vibrant city rewards all of its visitors with its eclectic architecture - from the restored old town, with its Renaissance Town Hall, through to the Soviet period and beyond - parks and open air art, a thriving music scene, excellent restaurants and shops featuring local design.
